- So each hour these POs are automatically exported as a CSV file and imported into the app.
- When a delivery arrives, the Warehouse Man, on his iPad clicks either ‘search for PO No’ or ‘Search by Description’.
- Then chooses the relevant order from a filtered list.
- He Selects/or enters [1] carrier; [2] No of cases; [3] quantity per case. A timestamp is auto added. Done!
- The Warehouse Office in real time on their screen sees what has come in and expects the paperwork at the end of the day.
- The Purchasing department 200 miles away sees what has been fulfilled/part delivered/outstanding and acts accordingly.
