The Brighter Futures Project within Three Ways School
Three Ways is a special needs school. They also provide much needed, specialist services via their Brighter Futures Project to colleges, schools, nurseries, voluntary and parent groups. Focusing on improved learning and well-being outcomes for individual children and young people.
The project involves many practitioners with considerable expertise in special educational needs, health, inclusion, behaviour support, therapeutic approaches, child development, personalised programmes for young people, and training for staff. Their services include assessments for learners with additional needs, therapeutic interventions, training programmes for children and teenagers, professional development and consultancy for staff, as well as advice for parents and carers.
The project has grown enormously in the last few years but was still being run on spreadsheets, bits of paper and human memory.
What was needed… One online, shareable, source of information. Practitioners could then access info (using personal secure logins) and file reports. And staff could monitor times and services.
